Own day-to-day US logistics across truckload, LTL, intermodal, and rail. Manage 3PLs, control cost and service, and keep shipments on time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute US shipments. Tender, track, and resolve exceptions.
• Manage 3PLs and carriers. Run scorecards and QBRs.
• Oversee railcar logistics: routings, cycle time, dwell, and demurrage.
• Negotiate rates and audit freight invoices.
• Hit OTIF targets and communicate ETAs and recovery plans.
• Use ERP/TMS to report cost, service, and utilization.
• Ensure shipping docs, Incoterms, and compliance.
• Work with Sales, Customer Service, Plants, and Finance.

Requirements

• MBA in Supply Chain.
• 3-5 years in US logistics with hands-on 3PL and railcar experience.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Working knowledge of US logistics practices and Incoterms 2020.
• Strong Excel or Sheets skills.
• Experience with a TMS and ERP.
• Able to work US business hours.

Nice to have

• Chemicals or Hazmat background.
• Rail tracking tools, EDI, and basic BI skills.

KPIs

OTIF, freight cost per unit, railcar cycle time and demurrage, tender acceptance, invoice accuracy.

Work conditions
