Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day factory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. You will be responsible for production planning, quality control, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all manufacturing operations, including machining, assembly, and finishing of dental instruments.

  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales and inventory needs.

  • Ensure adherence to ISO 13485 and internal quality control standards.

  • Manage raw material procurement and coordinate with the supply chain team.

  • Optimize workflow and lead efficiency-improvement projects across departments.

  • Collaborate with the QA/QC team to address production issues, rework, or rejects.

  • Monitor staff performance, conduct training, and implement accountability systems.

  • Ensure workplace safety, compliance, and cleanliness in all factory areas.

  • Prepare operational reports and update leadership on KPIs and bottlenecks.

  • Work closely with the Canadian head office to align production with order demand and marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in medical or dental instruments.

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, quality control systems, and compliance standards.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate factory teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, production management software, and ERP systems.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
