Job Description:

COMSATS Internet Services (CIS), Pakistan's pioneer ISP, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates, for appointment on contract basis against the post of Jr. Accountant/Accounts Assistant for Karachi Office.

  • Details of the position and placement are as under.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
  • Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
  • Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and controlling accounts and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
  • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
