Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented analytical Data Specialist to manage, analyze, and optimize data across our chemical distribution operations. The Ideal candidate will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support decision-making in supply chain, inventory, logistics, compliance, and customer systems, enabling smarter business decisions and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from internal systems
  • Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Collaborate with R&D and compliance teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
  • Perform data mining and statistical analysis to identify trends and anomalies
  • Ensure data governance and compliance with industry regulations
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and automation of data workflows
  • Document data processes and provide training to internal stakeholders

Data Management & Organization

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources
  • Design and maintain databases, data systems, and data pipelines
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across platforms

Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Generate reports to support strategic decision-making

 Collaboration & Communication

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Provide training or documentation to help teams use data tools effectively

Governance & Compliance

  • Implement data quality standards and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Monitor and audit data usage to prevent errors or misuse

Automation & Optimization

  • Develop scripts or workflows to automate data collection and reporting
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve efficiency
  • Support digital transformation initiatives through data-driven solutions

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Chemistry, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in a data-centric role, preferably in manufacturing or life sciences
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data insights for non-technical teams
  • Familiarity with chemical industry databases and regulatory data standards.
