Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Instruction:
  • Deliver engaging lectures, facilitate workshops, and conduct practical sessions for postgraduate students pursuing degrees or diplomas in Health Professions Education (e.g., MHPE, diplomas).
  • Guide and supervise students on their research projects and assignments related to HPE topics.
  • Integrate modern pedagogical approaches and adult learning principles into teaching practices.
• Curriculum Development & Evaluation:
  • Assist in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of HPE curricula, ensuring alignment with best practices and institutional standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and teaching methodologies.
• Research & Scholarship:
  • Initiate and participate in scholarly activities and research projects in Health Professions Education.
  • Aim to publish research findings in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
  • Present scholarly work at relevant academic conferences and workshops.
  • Contribute to grant writing efforts to secure funding for HPE research initiatives.
• Faculty Development:
  • Assist in developing and facilitating faculty development programs and workshops for healthcare educators across the institution.
  • Provide mentorship and support to faculty members seeking to enhance their teaching, assessment, and curriculum development skills.
• Service & Administration:
  • Serve on departmental and institutional committees as assigned.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to administrative tasks.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in HPE.
