Job Description:

To create and implement websites for HTML Pro clients using the WordPress CMS.

Knowledge Areas:

1. Code/tech:

HTML/CSS/LESS/SASS, JavaScript/AJAX, PHP, SQL, Git, Code validity, XML, JSON and 3rd party APIs, Cross-platform and cross-browser, Server config,Responsive, Development environment, PhotoShop/Illustrator, Web standards and accessibility, Code testing

2. WordPress Specific:

API/codex knowledge, Custom post types, Custom post meta, Shortcodes, Templating, Themes, Plugins, Coding standards, Multilingual, WooCommerce, Multisite, Updates & maintenance, CMS, Security

3. Client-facing:

Training, Project management, Account management, Support, Sales Support, Commercial awareness, Deployment

Designing and implementing new features and functionality

Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture

Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS

Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
