1. Responsible for planning, developing & administering the policies & processing of library resources such as books, periodicals, electronic and multimedia products

2. Knowledge & implementation of Online Database systems & electronic digital system.

3. Automating operations & supervising of the online library catalog & integrated library system.

4. Provide statistical reports & Activities periodically and also on requests

5. Supervise staff both seniors & juniors for effective contributions in the specific areas of their work and recommend Training programs to enhance skills and efficiency.

6. Implementing circulation policy, documents & updating procedures.

7. Maintaining subscriptions & communicating with outside suppliers, publishers & other institutions.

8. Developing a system to procure effective print and electronic resources,

9. Constantly meet with the academic staff including students to obtain current subject interests and the project areas they are involved in.

10. Ensure identification of resources.

11. Constantly update the bibliographic database using tools & sources.

12. Identifying much used literature to procure according to the need.

13. Implement Collection Development policy.
