Job Description:

Major Responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities

·         Assisting in recruiting process; particularly during background checking phase.

·         Facilitating in preparing recruitment folders for senior managements’ approval.

·         Ensure all employees’ personnel files and the documentation is complete as per the USAID compliance rules.

·         Plugging in the backlog documents.

·         Follow up with staff on documentations etc.

·         Assist HR in filing and tagging of the personnel files.

·         Other HR Operational tasks.

Indirect Reporting: Other Internal and/or external contacts:

Job Requirements:

Education:                         

·         MPhil In Human Resource.

Work Experiences:        

·         Fresh; interest in human resource is preferred,

Demonstrated Skills:

. Proven ability to organize priorities and work under administrative and programmatic pressures with detail orientation and professional grace.

·Diplomatic and strong acumen in establishing positive working relationships with employees and all other stakeholders to maximize cooperation and productivity

·Proven sense of professional discretion, integrity, and ability to manage situations diplomatically and to effective resolution

 Language and Computer Skills:

. Written and spoken fluency in Urdu & English required

·Very strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

The USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project, implemented by the International Rescue Committee and its partners (Creative Associates International, World Learning, and Institute of Rural Management), is a seven-year project (2013-2020) with the objective to support the provincial and regional departments of education throughout Pakistan to improve reading skills of 1.3 million children in grades one and two. The project will achieve this goal through three distinct but interrelated components that will work in synergy to affect the quality of early grade education: Improved classroom learning environment for reading, Improved policies and systems for reading, and Improved community based support for reading in Pakistan.
